What data we process and why

Contact form. When you send an enquiry, we process your name, your email address, your phone number if you add it, the topic and your message. We use them only to reply and to continue the conversation with you.

Form abuse protection. The form uses our own protection against automated programs: a time token and a short computational challenge solved in your browser. We use no external services (such as reCAPTCHA) and build no visitor profile.

Server logs. When you open a page, the server records your IP address, the time of access and the address of the requested page. We use this for site security and to detect attacks.

  • Replying to your enquiry: your consent, given by ticking the box next to the form (Article 10(1) of the Montenegrin Law on Personal Data Protection; where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Keeping enquiries to prevent abuse and duplicate submissions, server logs and backups: our legitimate interest in a secure site (Article 10(2)(5) of the same law; where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who else has access

  • Google (Gmail). Enquiries arrive as email in the association's Google mailbox, so Google is a recipient of that data. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Hosting and maintenance. D. Svilenković, service provider SGLASSSERVICE - 016 DOO OGRANAK RAČUNSKO PROGRAMIRANJE BOŠNJACE, Karađorđeva 29, 16232 Bošnjace, Serbia (reg. no. 22141155, tax no. 115315745). Processes data only on our instructions and to maintain the site.
  • netcup GmbH, Germany. The server running the site is located in Germany (EU).
  • Backblaze (EU region). Nightly encrypted server backups are stored in an EU region.

We do not share data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Transfers outside Montenegro

The server and backups are in the European Union. Site maintenance is carried out from Serbia, and Google may process email outside the EU, including in the United States. We make such transfers only with the safeguards required by law (a processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses, or EU adequacy decisions).

How long we keep data

  • Copy of the enquiry on the server: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Email in the association's mailbox: as long as needed for the correspondence.
  • Server logs: a short time, at most 14 days.
  • Backups: up to 6 months. Deleted data may remain in an encrypted backup for that long and then disappears with it.

Cookies and embedded content

The site sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

Some pages contain YouTube videos. They load only when you click them, through youtube-nocookie.com. Only then does your browser connect to Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies or similar browser storage. If you do not click, no connection to YouTube is made.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised persons have server access, and backups are encrypted.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • find out whether we process your data and access it;
  • ask for inaccurate data to be corrected or completed;
  • ask for your data to be erased;
  • withdraw your consent.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the processing, for example if you write to us from the European Union, you also have the right to restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Send your request to the email in the "Data controller" section. We will reply within 15 days of receiving it. We may ask you to confirm your identity. Exercising your rights is free of charge.
